As Risk Control Manager at Chane, you will report to the Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Control and work with a small, dedicated team. You will be responsible to develop, implement, and monitor internal control to mitigate identified risks.
Functie
- Work closely together with the Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Control to fulfill the mission of the Internal Audit Function;
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to mitigate identified risks;
- Support the Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Control in the execution of the coordinating and supporting function for the Strategic/operational (department/terminal) risks assessments;
- Assist in the creation and revision of risk management and internal control policies to reflect changes in regulations, industry standards, or business operations;
- Prepare risk management reports for senior management;
- Support the design/adjustments of the Internal control Facilitate and coordinate the quarterly Internal Control self-assessments;
- Regularly monitor internal controls self-assessments and report on their effectiveness;
- Provide training and support to employees on risk management processes and the importance of internal controls. Foster a risk-aware culture within the organization;
- Work with other departments, such as finance, operations, and IT, to ensure a holistic approach to risk management and control;
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging risks, continuously seeking ways to enhance the organization’s risk management framework.
Functie-eisen
- Several years of relevant experience; ideally from a comparable role in a related industry;
- Maintains a high standard for recording risk activities in alignment with COSO/ISO 31000;
- A Master degree, additionally a recognized professional qualification (Certified ISO 31000 Risk Management/CRMP);
- Data driven, with advanced computer skills on MS Office 365, data analysis and visualisation software;
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and achieve consensus on actions to reduce risk;
- Strong interpersonal skills, and high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills;
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
